Something is wrong with me. And I wish I knew what it was.
In the last 5 days, I’ve enjoyed significant physical exhaustion, significant muscle soreness all over my body, knee pain, ankle pain, neck pain, a sore throat… I can explain it all away with simple cause-and-effect logic, but it doesn’t completely add up.
The workweek is over, and I’m STILL feeling significant neck annoyingness (I probably shouldn’t call it “significant pain”, as it’s more frustrating than painful) and some really concerning forearm muscle issues that are causing much discomfort when performing normal non-demanding tasks (such as opening my truck door, latching the bathroom stall at work, holding a coffee mug by the handle, etc).
I went to the doctor on Wednesday morning when I was physically unable to muster up the strength to get out of bed. (Thanks, Wife, for helping me up!) They took approximately 2,486 viles of blood from me, everything came back normal. (I was kinda hoping for swine flu, for the shock factor, but no dice.) I don’t know why I think doctors should be able to tell me what the hell’s wrong… oh wait… yeah I do… BECAUSE I FREAKING PAY 17 MILLION DOLLARS FOR A FREAKING 15 MINUTE OFFICE VISIT.
(Sorry, I’ll try to keep my blogging voice down, now. I tend to get a little out of hand, sometimes.)
At this point, I just want an answer. It doesn’t have to be a good answer… just tell me something.

Sorry you’re not feeling well.
Could be TMS: see Wikipedia entry for Dr. John Sarno: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_E._Sarno
If this is the issue, simply reading the book will help alleviate most of the problem.
